Do not sew while sleepy - reason number one

What's wrong with this picture?

Bonus points if you noticed the facing side seam is matched to the skirt's back dart rather than the side seam.

Fortunately I caught it before the seam was sewn.  Headache avoided.

  1. I'm guilty! Once when making pants I sewed wrong sides together then serged both inside and side seams. So much to undo, but I did save the pants.

  2. Oh, no! When I make such unique sewing constructions, I yell, like Marge Simpson, "Whaaaaattttt"!!

  3. I learned a long time ago not to try sewing anything when sleepy no matter how simple. It's good you caught it before sewing.

  4. I've made plenty of bonehead mistakes when I've been sleepy in the sewing room. I hope you quit and went to bed after discovering this mistake!
