Sewing interrupted to share an inspirational news story about a friend

At my previous job I had this one-in-million co-worker - hard worker, cheerful disposition, slightly sarcastic, always ready with a joke - I'll call him Wayne. Because his name is Wayne (that one's for you Wayne). Wayne is married to this incredible woman named Stacy, a talented writer who happens to be blind. This television clip is about Stacy. Watch the clip and you'll understand how blessed we are to be able to call these two our friends.

  1. That's very cool!

  2. This was a neat and touching story. I like the reminder that every day is a blessing and we are to make the most of it. Stacy is a very courageous woman and a great role model for us all.

I just made some sweet little sundresses for my 8 year old and a how to if you would like to see them.

Thank you so much for sharing this!
Caring for my children with disabilities & not getting to sew much, I was getting a little discouraged...Stacy's story has lifted me up.

Sending out prayers for her from:
